The 28th Annual Caribbean Heritage Food Festival will take place in St. Cyprian’s Edrick Bains Church Hall, Saturday July 25, 2015. Come one, come all!
During the months of July and August and the first Sunday in September, Sunday service will begin at 9:30 AM. During the summer hours, live internet transmission of the Sunday morning service will be suspended. The Sunday School will be in recess during July and August too. The Fall schedule for Sunday School will be posted in early September.

Bishop Alan M. Gates will preach and preside.

Lent and Easter at St. Cyprian’s 2015

There will be a full program of liturgical celebrations at St. Cyprian’s as well as opportunities to join with our neighbors of other faith communities in the annual United Lenten Devotions to fulfill Jesus’ exhortation — “that they all might be one.”
During Lent, we will be celebrating the Sunday Eucharist according to Rite I. Also, during Lent, we will have presentations of the film series produced by the Mission Institute on “Being Church.” St. Cyprian’s was one of the parishes featured in the series.
The United Lenten Devotions will once again be observed at different churches throughout the greater Boston area. Tickets are now on sale for the 45th Annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Breakfast, January 19, 2015 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, 415 Summer St., Boston, 8:00 am. This annual event is hosted by St. Cyprian’s and Union United Methodist Church. The keynote speaker for the 2015 breakfast will be Dr. Cleveland Sellers, President of Voorhees College, an historically Black college with Episcopalian affiliation. During the 1960s, Dr. Sellers was a major figure in SNCC – the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee – taking part in many of the most significant actions that took place in the South. Considering the recent events in Ferguson, MO and New York City, Dr. Sellers’ address will be timely and meaningful. Also joining the morning’s event will be the senior elected officials of Boston and Massachusetts.
