You will recall that at the October 25, 2020 celebration of the Eucharist, Fr. Williams announced his retirement effective on the 31st of December. The current pandemic most unfortunately makes it impossible for us to come together in person to celebrate Fr. Williams’ ministry in the community of St. Cyprian’s Episcopal Church. Fr. This coming Sunday, December 13th, is the third Sunday in Advent. This is the Sunday, the pink candle is lit in the Advent wreath. Yes! We are having our annual event. It will be different. The January 18, 2021 celebration will be virtual! Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the MLK Memorial Breakfast Committee in collaboration with Northeastern University will hold an online celebration of the life and ministry of Dr. King.
