With the start of Advent, we turn our attention to stewardship. In this time of thanksgiving, we consider how we can support the work of our church community. The generous giving of money, time and talent form our expressions of our dedication to our shared mission of proclaiming God’s love for all. On the last Sunday after Pentecost Commitment Cards for the 2022 year were handed out. For those who are worshiping online we wanted to offer you the opportunity to submit a Commitment Card too. The 52nd annual Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Breakfast sponsored by St. Cyprian’s and Union United Methodist will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center at 8:30 AM.

This year the Breakfast will be hybrid with in-person and online components. A limited number of in-person tickets are now available for purchase online at bostonmlkbreakfast.org at $50 each on a first come first serve basis. The event will also be live-streamed online.

Our theme will be From Resistance to Representation: Black Women Proving the Dream.  The keynote speaker will be Ms. Annette Gordon-Reed, Historian, Law School professor, and author of the New York Times bestseller, On Juneteenth.
