Special Parish Meeting Scheduled

September 27th, 2015 | Posted by admin in Uncategorized - (Comments Off)

The Vestry has voted to call a special parish meeting for October 18, 2015 directly following the Sunday liturgy. The sole item of business will be a review and vote on a second revision of the parish by-laws.

Last spring, the revised by-laws approved at the 2015 Annual Parish Meeting were sent to the Standing Committee of the diocese. Under the canons of the diocese, any revisions to a parish’s by-laws must be reviewed and approved by the Standing Committee. Suggestions were made by a member of the Standing Committee to bring our revisions into alignment with the diocesan model by-laws.

A draft of the second revised by-laws integrating the suggestions is available here. Printed copies can be found at the back of the church. If you have any questions, please send them to .
