A celebration of the life of Carmen Jackman-Edwards will be held at St. Cyprian’s Episcopal Church on September 28, 2024. The viewing will begin at 9:30 am, and the service will follow at 10:30 am.
Diocesan transitions:
On Sunday, October 5, 2024 there will be a diocesan-wide celebration and thanksgiving in honor of Bishop Alan Gates‘ ten years of episcopal ministry in Boston. The celebration will be held at the Boston Aquarium. This is a family event. Here is the link to the sign-up page.
We will be celebrating the consecration and installation of Bishop-elect Julia E. Whitworth on October 19, 2024 at Trinity Church, Boston. Space is limited if you want to participate in person. The service will be livestreamed. Here is the link for further information.

Sixteenth Sunday after Pentecost ~ September 8, 2024 ~ St. Cyprian

The saint was a bishop and died a martyr for the faith. A brief bio of the saint may be found here. Our service begins at 10:30 am this Sunday, but we invite you to come at 10:00 and enjoy a wonderful musical experience. Aymon Parris, a fourteen-year-old organist from Barbados will be with us to present a brief recital of sacred music. Again, that will take place at 10:00. At our service the Rev. Erma Ambrose of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, St. Michael, Barbados will be our guest preacher and celebrant. The bulletin with the full service for this coming Sunday may be found here.
