Every year for the past several years, the vestry has sponsored a Walk-A-Thon around the golf course at Franklin Park.This year’s walk takes place on September 22, 2012 starting at 7:00 AM. Proceeds are dedicated to the Building Fund. If you are interested in participating as a walker or as a sponsor of a worker, please send a note to the office: Walk-A-Thon.

A tradition of many years is the Annual St. Cyprian’s Dinner Dance held in September. The Dinner Dance will be held Annunciation Auditorium, 7 VFW Parkway West Roxbury, MA 02132. The festivities begin at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $30.00 in advance of the event and $35.00 at the door. If you want further information, please drop a note to: Dinner Dance. The proceeds from this event will go to the parish’s Building Fund.

On September the 9th, we celebrate the Feast of St. Cyprian, Bishop and Martyr. The patronal feast marks the beginning of many parish programs. The Sunday School is being reconstituted, the annual dinner dance will be held, and numerous other activities. Visit this site often to stay updated.

St. Cyprian’s Ushers’ Guild will be hosting its Annual Red Snapper-Fried Chicken Brunch on Sunday, July 29, 2012 after the 9:30 am morning service. Tickets are $15.00 available at the door. Come to Service and stay for brunch!

The parish will be celebrating the installation of the Rev. Dr. Monrelle T. Williams as the seventh rector of St. Cyprian’s Episcopal Church. The service will take place at 5:00 pm, Sunday, April 29, 2012. This will be a most festive occasion! The Rt. Rev. M. Thomas Shaw, SSJE, Bishop of Massachusetts, will be principal celebrant. A reception follows in the Edrick Bain Church Hall. There will be no 10:30 am Eucharist on the 29th.

Mark your calendars for two events hosted by St. Cyprian’s. The Vestry is hosting a Mother’s Day Buffet May 13, 2012 at 1:00 pm in the Edrick Bain Church Hall. For more information, click here. Sunday, March 4, 2012, the congregation of St. Cyprian’s welcomed its new pastor, the Rev. Dr. Monrelle Williams. The welcome took place during the Sunday Eucharist which Fr. Williams celebrated. After the service, a festive reception was held in the church hall.
