With the end of June, our Sunday worship service starting time changes. Beginning July 7th, our Sunday service will begin at 9:30 am. Sunday school is in recess until September. Likewise, our live internet transmission of the Sunday morning worship service will be in recess until September. Bible study will meet on the following dates: June 28, July 12, 19, and 26 and pause during August. We hope all will have a relaxing summer season!
Summer Schedule – 2019
June 23rd, 2019 | Posted by in Uncategorized - (Comments Off on Summer Schedule – 2019)This Holy Week which began Sunday, April 14, 2019 with a service of Palms and a reading of the Passion according to St. Luke, will continue with the celebration of Maundy Thursday with and at our sister parish–St. Augustine & St. Martin, 29-33 Lenox St, with a simple meal at 6:00 pm and the Liturgy at 7:00 pm. Good Friday worship will take place at noon at St. Cyprian’s. Our Sacred Concert originally scheduled for Friday night has been cancelled. We will have one service Sunday in celebration of Easter at 10:30 am. Please join us to celebrate our Lord’s resurrection!

United Lenten Devotions

Here is a schedule of the services and locations. The announcement also lists themes and scriptural readings for each evening. Please do join us.
Remember also that we have a 7:00 am eucharist and homily on Wednesday mornings at St. Cyprian’s.
Ash Wednesday – March 6, 2019

There will be a viewing and visitation on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 10:00 am at St. Cyprian’s Episcopal Church, 1073 Tremont St., Roxbury, MA 02120. A service of thanksgiving for his life will follow the viewing and visitation at 11:00 am. May his soul rest in God’s eternal love and peace.
Bible Study Cancellation

With profound sadness, we note the passing of Norma Moseley, a long time member of St. Cyprian’s Church and a member of the Episcopal Church Women. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at St. Cyprian’s Episcopal Church, 1073 Tremont Street, Roxbury. Visiting and viewing will commence at 10:00 a.m. followed by a service celebrating her life at 11:00 a.m.
Mrs. Moseley was the mother of Carol and Deborah Moseley and, also, the sister of Compton Jones, Past Grand Master of Prince Hall Masons.
The Feast of Our Lord’s Nativity – Christmas 2018

Sunday Service of Song and Music

All are invited to usher in the celebration of the Christmas season! There will be an offering taken up during the service to support the parish’s music ministry. Come, join us for this festive time!
Our Sunday morning service will be a said service (Low Mass) at the usual time-10:30 am.
