Third Sunday in Advent ~ December 17, 2023

December 14th, 2023 | Posted by admin in Uncategorized - (Comments Off on Third Sunday in Advent ~ December 17, 2023)

This coming Sunday we will celebrate the Feast of St. Nicholas. The saint was the bishop of Myra a city in what is today Turkey. Over time St. Nicholas became identified with our modern-day Santa Claus. This grew out of St. Nicholas’ reputation for generosity in helping the poor, especially youth. Our worship will focus on youth and their place in the church. Our Order of Service will be different. Here is a link to the Order of Service. If you are not able to join us in-person at our 10:30 AM celebration, please participate through our live streaming of the service on YouTube. Here is the link to our YouTube webpage. Please, come worship with us!

We would be so grateful if you could continue to show your generosity to our parish by donating online. We have included a link with instructions on how to do this. We thank you in advance for your kind contribution and may God bless you!

This year, the seven churches will continue this time-honored custom by sharing worship during Advent virtually. Each week beginning November 29th, one of the seven congregations will host a Wednesday evening service via Zoom and YouTube. Here is a flyer with the details. Please join us!
