St. Cyprian’s and our neighboring churches are sharing Wednesday evenings by observing Lent with a simple dinner and liturgy. This Wednesday, March 30, 2011 will be hosted at St. Cyprian’s. St. Cyprian’s own Dr. Bruce Jackson, Professor and Coordinator, Biotechnology and Forensic DNA Science Programs at MassBay Community College was recently honored by President Barack Obama as one of the eleven receipents of the prestigious Presidential Awards for Excellence in Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Mentoring. Dr. Jackson was present with the honor in an Oval Office ceremony January 27, 2011.
Members of the congregation are reminded that the parish’s Annual Meeting will take place Sunday, January 30, 2011 after the morning service.
