Due to the forecast of another major snow storm this weekend, the Sunday, February 15, 2015 Service and Sunday School are cancelled. 

This year we have a unique richness of opportunities to observe the Lenten season and the feast of Easter. There will be a full program of liturgical celebrations at St. Cyprian’s as well as opportunities to join with our neighbors of other faith communities in the annual United Lenten Devotions to fulfill Jesus’ exhortation — “that they all might be one.”

During Lent, we will be celebrating the Sunday Eucharist according to Rite I. Also, during Lent, we will have presentations of the film series produced by the Mission Institute on “Being Church.” St. Cyprian’s was one of the parishes featured in the series.

The United Lenten Devotions will once again be observed at different churches throughout the greater Boston area. St. Cyprian’s annual Advent Fall Concert will take place Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 5:00 pm in the church sanctuary. St. Cyprian’s Gospel Choir and the Celestial Infernos Steel Band will be performing favorites of the Fall and Christmas season. Ticket donation: $15.00. With deep sadness, we announce that the recently retired Diocesan Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts, the Rt. Rev. M. Thomas Shaw, SSJE, passed away Friday, October 17, 2014 at Emery House in West Newbury, MA. The diocese’s announcement can be found here.Visitation and memorial services can be accessed here. St. Cyprian’s is celebrating the Autumn in grand style! Join us for our “Four Seasons Dinner”. On November the 8th, 2014 we will be hosting a sumptuous dinner celebrating the coming of Fall. The Ushers’ Guild invites you to an Evening of Elegance, its annual Fall event. On October 26, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 8:oo PM at Biff’s Lounge, 24 Washington Street, Dorchester you will enjoy music provided by Vital Riddims. There will be food and a cash bar. The Rt. Rev. Gayle Harris, Suffragan Bishop of Massachusetts will administer the sacrament of confirmation at St. Cyprian’s on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 10:30 AM. St. Cyprian’s is hosting the fall service of confirmation  for the parishes of the neighboring deaneries. A reception will follow the service in the Edrick Bain Church Hall.
