The event will take place Monday, January 16, 2023 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center at 9:00 AM. The keynote speaker for the event will be Jelani Cobb Ph.D., Dean of the Columbia Journalism School and a writer at the New Yorker. While the in-person tickets have been sold out, please join us online free. On December 18, 2022 we will celebrate the fourth Sunday of Advent with the traditional Service of Nine Lessons and Carols. The service will be held at 4:00 pm. We will not have a morning service (our 10:30 Eucharist) on the 18^th. Christmas: we will celebrate Christmas at 10:30 am with a service of the Eucharist. This coming Sunday is the third Sunday in the Advent season. Since the Middle Ages it has been called Gaudete Sunday. The Latin word Gaudete means ‘rejoice’. This is the Sunday when we contemplate the joy of Christ’s coming and our redemption. This Sunday we light the rose-colored candle as a symbol of that joy.
