A Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Shirley Herbert will be celebrated on Friday, August 17^th here at St. Cyprian’s. There will be a viewing beginning at 10:00 am and the service following at 11:00 am. May she rest in peace.

We are pleased to announce the 2018 Annual St. Cyprian’s Gala Dinner and Dance, Saturday, September 15, 2018, 7:00 pm to 12:00 midnight. This year’s gala will be held at The Lantana, 43 Scanlon Drive, Randolf, MA 02368. Music will be provided by The Jack Lee & Diversity Band and DJ Junior. St. Cyprian’s is hosting an evening concert, August 18, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. The Celestial Voices of Barbados are visiting Boston as the choir brings its North American tour to a conclusion. They will be performing light classics, spirituals, Broadway favorites and folk music. Here is a link for ticket information.

During the months of July and August, Sunday Eucharist and Sermon will begin at 9:30 am. Internet transmission of the Sunday services will be in recess until September. Enjoy the Summer!

A reminder…Sunday, June 24, 2018, the Congregation of St. Cyprian’s will be worshiping with other members of the Roxbury Dorchester Mission Hub in the annual Summer Service in Franklin Park. Service will begin at 10:00 am. Fellowship will follow the service. Come and join us for this annual celebration. There will not be a service at St. Cyprian’s on the 24th.

In celebration of Easter 2018, the Chancel Choir of St. Cyprian’s Episcopal Church under the direction of its director, Mr. Brian Edwards, will perform Fred W. Peace’s “The King of Glory An Easter Cantata” on May 6, 2018 at 5:00 pm. Here is the flyer for the event. Tickets available at the door for $15.00.

Thursday, March 29  Maundy Thursday Service – At St. Augustine and St. Martin. Light supper at 6:00 pm, service at 7:00 pm.

Friday,  March 30 Good Friday – At St. Cyprian’s – Noon.

Easter Sunday – April 1 – 8:00 am Sermon and Eucharist; later in the morning at 10:30 am Procession, Sermon and Sung Eucharist.

Due to the snow storm expected to begin in the afternoon, we regrettably find it necessary to cancel the March 21st Wednesday evening United Lenten Devotion scheduled to take place here at St. Cyprian’s. Please pass the word along.

Due to the March 13th blizzard which will probably be continuing into Wednesday, March 14th, the Wednesday 7:00 am said Eucharist and homily are being cancelled. Please pass the word on. There will be no service at St. Cyprian’s Wednesday morning, March 14th.

We will mark the start of Lent this year—Wednesday, February 14, 2018—with a said Eucharist, homily and imposition of ashes at 7:00 AM. We will celebrate a said Eucharist throughout Lent until Holy Week with a Wednesday morning short, said Eucharist at 7:00 AM. The service usually runs until 7:30 so that participants will not have work schedule difficulties. In addition to our observance of Lent at St. Cyprian’s, we will be participating in the United Lenten Devotions, a shared observance moving among the churches in our area on Wednesday evenings beginning with a simple meal at 6:00 PM and thereafter a liturgy at 7:00 PM.
