Please mark your calendars this holiday season. The Sunday School will present a Christmas Performance on January 6, 2019 at the 10:30 am Sunday morning service. Please do join us for this festive event!

You are invited to the Annual St. Andrew’s Day Men’s Fellowship Brunch to be held December 1, 2018 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, the Edrick Bain Church Hall, St. Cyprian’s Episcopal Church, 1073 Tremont St., Roxbury, MA 02120. There will be a wonderful menu of delicious food as only can be found at St. Cyprian’s events! The cost of a ticket is $15.00. Tickets are available at the door. The menu can be found here.

On Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 10:30 AM, St. Cyprian’s will celebrate a special Service of Healing, Sermon, and Holy Communion. You are encouraged to attend and bring the names of those whom you may know that desire prayers of healing. During the service you will have an opportunity to have healing prayers said for you and for the people whose names you bring with you.  Please join us!

It is profound sadness that we note the passing of Mr. Merton Bennett, a long-time and much beloved member of our parish. There will be a celebration of his life on November 2, 2018 beginning with visitation and viewing at 10:00 am and service at 11:00 am, St. Cyprian’s Episcopal Church. May he rest in peace.  Amen.

St. Cyprian’s Sunday School classes will start up again on September 16th. The doors will open at 10:00 am. Classes start at 10:30 am. 

Even though the temperature may not agree, summer is coming to an end. This marks the return to our regular Sunday schedule of service beginning at 10:30 am — Sermon and Sung Holy Communion according to Rite II. Sunday School will recommence on the 16th. Bible Study takes place in the John Lynch Conference Room on Wednesday evenings, starting with the Book of Ruth on September the 12th.

A Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Shirley Herbert will be celebrated on Friday, August 17^th here at St. Cyprian’s. There will be a viewing beginning at 10:00 am and the service following at 11:00 am. May she rest in peace.

We are pleased to announce the 2018 Annual St. Cyprian’s Gala Dinner and Dance, Saturday, September 15, 2018, 7:00 pm to 12:00 midnight. This year’s gala will be held at The Lantana, 43 Scanlon Drive, Randolf, MA 02368. Music will be provided by The Jack Lee & Diversity Band and DJ Junior. St. Cyprian’s is hosting an evening concert, August 18, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. The Celestial Voices of Barbados are visiting Boston as the choir brings its North American tour to a conclusion. They will be performing light classics, spirituals, Broadway favorites and folk music. Here is a link for ticket information.
