March 14 is the fourth Sunday in Advent. If we were gathering in church, the celebrant might be wearing old rose colored vestments. The color is meant to indicate a subdued joy during the Lenten season. United Lenten Devotions -2021

For the last several years, the parishes of the Roxbury – Dorchester Mission Hub have observed Lent through a sharing of meals and prayer moving from one church to another. While we may not be able to break bread together, the practice of praying together continues on a virtual basis. Due to the pandemic, St. Cyprian’s will not be having an Ash Wednesday service this year. We do invite you to join Bishop Alan M. Gates presiding and Dean Amy McCreath preaching at St. Paul’s Cathedral for a virtual Ash Wednesday at noon, February 17, 2021 at noon.
